Christmas Sermons

I think Christmas story is often hard to preach. I get the sense, even though no one has said it, that everybody is coming with a "been there and heard that" attitude. Am I wrong about this?

I am SOOOOO not going to say you are wrong, but I think it is the easiest to teach.

Other than Easter it is the greatest moment in history we have to tell and so much bigger than the manger scene that everyone "has heard".

I started shopping for Christmas in November and putting up lights at Thanksgiving, but the Bible tells us that the 1st Christmas preperations were being made as early as 600 years prior to Jesus birth. Maybe sooner.

THAT is some story. Be encouraged. "we" may think we know it all and have been there, done that...but we are so wrong. Tell the story, it needs to be heard.

(just do it as well as Linus did in the Charlie Brown Christmas)
